Bagel2Beer Marathon Waiver

I understand and acknowledge that I am not a candy ass. I am running all or part of the B2B and accept all responsibility for anything good or bad that may happen to me. I will not run to a lawyer in order to sue someone, even though there are several lawyers running this race (probably in an effort to drum up business). The course, based on weather conditions, may be hazardous, with dangers such slippery surfaces and poison ivy on downed trees being present (do not slide your skin on the 3-leaved plants when climbing over the blown down trees). I understand that my consent to these provisions is given in consideration of the acceptance of this registration and for being permitted to participate in this event (hell, I'm not even being charged an entry fee!) I am a voluntary participant in this event, and in good physical condition. In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I for myself, my executors, administrators, and assignees of, do hereby assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur during my participation in this event or while on the premises of this event, and I hereby release and hold harmless and covenant not to file suit against B2B sponsors, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, race officials, and all other persons or entities associated with this event of all claims and damages, demands, and actions whatsoever in any manner arising out of my participation in the B2B. I attest and verify that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in this event. By entering the B2B the participant grants permission for the free use of his or her name through pictures, in any broadcast, telecast, or any other promotional media of this event. Just don't hold your breath until you get your picture on the cover of Runners World.
